How can I become a “Sea Volunteer” at “Eco-Mer les Yachts du Coeur” ?
Becoming a Sea Volunteer with Eco-Mer les Yachts du Coeur is a meaningful way to contribute to humanitarian efforts while working on a yacht. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started:

  1. Identify Donate-able Items: Begin by sorting out items on your yacht that can be donated. This includes non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries, and other essentials.

  2. Get Captain’s Approval: Discuss your intention to donate these items with your captain. Ensure you have their agreement to donate rather than dispose of the items.

  3. Contact “Eco-Mer les Yachts du Coeur“: Reach out to the association to arrange a donation pick-up. You can contact them via phone, email, or through their website.

  4. Coordinate Pick-Up: Eco-Mer les Yachts du Coeur will schedule a pick-up with one of their Land Volunteers. The pick-up can be arranged anywhere between Marseille and Menton along the French Riviera.

  5. Handover Donations: Once the Land Volunteer arrives, hand over the sorted donations. Eco-Mer les Yachts du Coeur ensures the items are delivered to a local humanitarian association on your behalf.

  6. Support Humanitarian Associations: Your donations will be distributed to partner organizations such as The French Red Cross, the Food Bank, Secours Populaire, St Vincent de Paul, the Order of Malta, and Solidarity 06 in Nice, aiding the homeless and those in need.

By following these steps, you’ll play a vital role in supporting local communities and making a positive impact through your contributions as a Sea Volunteer.
