The Hidden Reality: Poverty on the French Riviera
Behind the glamour of the French Riviera lies a heartbreaking truth: tens of thousands of people struggle with poverty every day.
As a French humanitarian and environmental nonprofit, we’ve been working since 2010 to bridge this gap. Thanks to the generosity of over 800 + yacht crew members and 100 + Superyachts partners between Marseille and Monaco, we collect donations to support vital organizations like the Food Bank, the French Red Cross, and the Order of Malta among many others.
Thanks to the generosity of superyacht crews, we’ve now delivered well over 44,000 meals and 250 m³ of clothing to local organizations supporting the homeless and low-income families in Cannes and Nice.
Our mission is twofold:
✔ Reducing waste – By redirecting surplus resources from superyachts, we help minimize their environmental impact.
✔ Supporting those in need – Every donation provides food, shelter, and hope to vulnerable communities.
Yet the crisis is growing:
🔹 21% of Cannes residents lived below the poverty line in 2021. Cannes Insee 2021
🔹 22% in Nice faced the same struggle. Nice Insee 2021
In one of the world’s wealthiest regions, poverty continues to rise—but together, we can make a difference

THE FUTURE IS HERE
Today, we are seeking a visionary partner to help us scale our mission with the launch of the “Yachts du Coeur” Blue Relief I”—a zero-emission humanitarian vessel inspired by the cutting-edge Aquon One 67, a Swiss-engineered catamaran powered entirely by solar and green hydrogen.
This vessel would become the first of its kind dedicated to delivering food, emergency supplies, and mobile shelters year-round—silently, cleanly, and with dignity—to thousands along the Mediterranean coast.
